Twin Peaks shootout defense Attorneys

Defense attorneys Brian Bouffard and David Conrad Beyer called the motion an improper stalling tactic that “reeks of desperation.” Beyer said the motion was filed in “bad faith,”

David Conrad Beyer and Brian Bouffard, both Fort Worth attorneys who represent McRee and Salinas respectively, were disallowed from [presenting their motions because the motion to recuse had to be dealt with before any other action could take place.

Brouffard and Beyer not only opposed the recusal motions, they sought sanctions against the DA’s office for $2,000 in lodging and subpoena service expenses they and others incurred when last week’s hearing was canceled.
